5 Due diligence assessments
We conduct due diligence assessments in accordance with the OECD Guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct. The process includes the following steps:
1. Embedding
Responsible business conduct is embedded in company management and governing documents.
2. Identifying
We identify and assess actual and potential adverse impacts in our own operations and supply chain.
3. Addressing
We implement measures to cease, prevent or mitigate adverse impacts.
4. Tracking
We track the implementation and results of the measures.
5. Communicating
We communicate openly about our work and results.
6. Remediation
We provide for or cooperate in remediation where required.
6 Supply chain
Solid Sikring AS trades with suppliers primarily in Norway and Europe. Our main suppliers are:
- Wholesalers and distributors of security equipment (Norway)
- Manufacturers of electronic equipment (Europe, Asia)
- Suppliers of electrical materials (Norway, Europe)
- IT and software providers (Norway, Europe, USA)
7 Risk assessment
We have conducted a risk assessment of our supply chain with a focus on human rights and working conditions.
Based on our assessment, we consider the risk of violations of human rights and decent working conditions to be low to moderate in our supply chain. Most of our suppliers are established companies in Norway and Europe with good practices for ethical business conduct. For products manufactured in Asia, we have identified a somewhat higher risk, and we follow up on this through dialogue with our distributors.
8 Measures
We have implemented the following measures to ensure responsible business conduct:
- Code of conduct for employees and business partners
- Supplier assessment when entering into new agreements
- Dialogue with existing suppliers about their practices
- Prioritization of suppliers with documented sustainability programs
- Internal training in ethical business practices
- Whistleblowing channel for reporting concerns
9 Results and follow-up
During the reporting period, we have not identified any significant violations of human rights or decent working conditions in our operations or with our suppliers. We will continue to monitor and improve our practices, and update this statement annually.
