Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all purchases from Solid Sikring AS. Please read them carefully before shopping.

1 General

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases of goods and services from Solid Sikring AS, org. no. 928 844 676. By placing an order, you accept these terms. The terms are designed in accordance with Norwegian consumer legislation, including the Right of Withdrawal Act, the Consumer Purchases Act and the E-Commerce Act.

2 Definitions

  • "Seller" refers to Solid Sikring AS
  • "Buyer" refers to the person placing an order
  • "Goods" refers to products being sold
  • "Service" refers to installation and service work

3 Orders and contract formation

A binding purchase agreement is entered into when we have confirmed your order. You will receive an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of errors in price or product information, or for sold-out items. In such cases, you will be informed immediately and any payment will be refunded.

4 Prices

All prices are quoted in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT (25%) unless otherwise specified. Shipping costs are additional and are displayed before you complete your order. We reserve the right to change prices without notice, but price changes do not affect already concluded agreements.

5 Payment

We accept payment by card (Visa, Mastercard). Payment is processed securely via our payment provider Stripe. For business customers, we offer prepaid invoicing by agreement. We do not currently offer Vipps, Klarna or post-payment invoicing. Late payment will incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment Interest Act.

6 Delivery

Delivery time varies depending on product and stock status. Estimated delivery time is stated at order. We ship goods with Bring or PostNord. You will receive tracking information when the item is shipped. The risk for the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery. In case of delayed delivery, you have the right to withhold payment and possibly cancel the purchase if the delay is significant.

7 Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from when you receive the goods. To use the right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the deadline. The goods must be returned in substantially the same condition and quantity. You cover return costs unless the goods are defective or incorrectly delivered. Refund is made within 14 days after we have received the goods.

Note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are custom-made or specially ordered for you, or to sealed goods that for hygienic reasons cannot be returned after the seal has been broken.

8 Warranty and complaints

All goods have a 2-year right of complaint under the Consumer Purchases Act. Many products also have manufacturer warranties that may provide extended coverage. In case of defects or deficiencies, you must complain within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. You have the right to repair, replacement, price reduction or cancellation of the purchase depending on the nature of the defect.

9 Complaints

Complaints should be directed to our customer service at kontakt@solidsikring.no or phone +47 4022 2270. We process all complaints as quickly as possible, normally within 14 days. If we cannot reach an agreement, you can contact the Consumer Authority or bring the case before the Consumer Disputes Commission.

10 Limitation of liability

Solid Sikring AS is liable for direct losses resulting from defects in our products or services. We are not liable for indirect losses, unless the loss is due to gross negligence or intent on our part. Our liability is limited to the value of the relevant order.

11 Force majeure

Solid Sikring AS is not liable for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or supply problems from our suppliers. We will inform you of such circumstances as soon as possible.

12 Disputes and choice of law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be sought resolved amicably. If this is not successful, the dispute may be brought before the ordinary courts with Oslo District Court as the venue.
